On Monday 15th June, leaflets produced by Worker-communism Unity Party (WUP) were distributed in several areas of Tehran. The areas covered were “Ferdos Boulevard”, “Ayatollah Kashani Street”, “Aryashahr 2nd Square”, “Marzdaran”, “Sadegyeh 1st Square”, “Satar Khan Street” to “Tohid Square”, and the side streets from the above locations.
Also, another team distributed the Party leaflets (namely “Let us push back the Islamic regime’s brutal assault” and “Free all Political Prisoners”) amongst the protesting crowd in “Arya shahr 2nd Square” and “Sattar Khan Bridge” where big dustbins were burnt by the protestors who were chanting slogans against the regime. They were well received by the people.
People in Iran do not want Ahmadinejad or Mousavi. They do not want suppressive regime, they do not want the Islamic Republic. They want freedom, prosperity, and abolition of discrimination.
